MONTHLY LESSON FEES
30-minute lesson: $140 for 4 / $175 for 5
45-minute lesson: $210 for 4 / $245 for 5
60-minute lesson: $280 for 4 / $350 for 5
PAYMENT POLICY
Payment is required at the first lesson of each month, for the entire month. If you have a credit to your account, an adjustment will be made at that time.
Payment may be made by cash, check or Pay Pal.
If payment is not received by the second lesson of the month, lessons will stop until your account is made current.
MATERIALS/EQUIPMENT COSTS
In addition to lesson fees, students are expected to pay for materials and equipment (recordings, books, sticks, instruments, and metronome).
Students are also asked to bring a notebook to each lesson so I may keep a continuous record of progress.
CANCELLATION POLICY
If you need to cancel a lesson, I require 24-hour notice by email, phone or in person. If you wait until the day of the scheduled lesson to contact me, you will be charged in full for the lesson.
In canceling your lesson, it is best to try to make it up within the same week at a mutually agreed-upon time.
If, on the other hand, I need to cancel your lesson, you have two options:
1)We can reschedule your lesson for a time convenient to both of us, or
2)You can choose not to reschedule the lesson but take a credit that applies to next month’s lessons.
LESSON PROTOCOL
Please be on time. I will open the door when your lesson is about to begin.
Arrive to every lesson with appropriate sticks, books, recordings (if applicable) and progress notebook.
If you are late, I can only give you the remaining lesson time. There are no partial or prorated payments for shorter lessons.
Parents are welcome at the first lesson. After the first lesson, I ask that only the student and I remain in the drum studio during the lesson; this helps us foster a trusting relationship without outside pressure or distractions.
There is no food or drink allowed in the studio.
REFUNDS
If you decide to discontinue instruction for any reason, please notify me within 7 days of your last scheduled lesson. This is a courtesy both to me and to students on my wait list.
